Hello everyone! I’m Aaron Nelson, the founder and lead real estate agent at White Coat RE, based in the Greater Seattle-Tacoma area. Our company specializes in helping homeowners & Investors achieve their financial goals through real estate. And today, we’re exploring four of Maple Valley’s most coveted communities!
1) Cedar Downs
First on our list is Cedar Downs, a neighborhood known for its spacious lots, towering trees, and a mix of architectural styles, from Northwest Contemporary to Cape Cod. Developed in the 1980s, many homes here feature large fenced yards offering privacy and room to roam. A major perk is the private lakefront beach on Pipe Lake, complete with a playground, sports court, and picnic pavilion—perfect for weekend fun! Plus, recent sidewalk improvements now connect the neighborhood to shopping, dining, and the Maple Valley Library.
2) Lake Wilderness Country Club
Next up is Lake Wilderness Country Club, a premier golf course community where many homes back directly onto the fairways, providing great views and easy access in case you want to play a quick 18. Built in the late 1980s and early ‘90s, this walkable neighborhood caters to the active lifestyle and is just a short distance from Lake Wilderness Park and the Cedar River Trail.
3) Lake Forest Estates
For those who love the lake-life, Lake Forest Estates is another fantastic choice! This charming community, developed in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s, features a private lakefront beach on Lake Wilderness, complete with a playground, doc and sports court. With quick access to the Cedar River Trail, it’s a haven for outdoor enthusiasts.
4) Maple Ridge Highlands
Last but not least, we have Maple Ridge Highlands. Built in the early 2000s, this neighborhood is known for its stunning views of Mount Rainier and well-planned community amenities such as the fun community playground with tall slides and a mini-rock climbing wall. The community backs up to the Henry’s Ridge Open space which offers plenty of walking trails, and is in close proximity to Tahoma High School and Four Corners Shopping Center.
That wraps up our quick tour of some of Maple Valley’s top neighborhoods! Whether you’re looking for a golf course home, access to a private lakefront beach, or breathtaking mountain views, Maple Valley has something for you!
